At times I have experienced grief, anxiety, and struggled with competing caregiving demands and role strain. My education, professional and life experience helps me to fully understand your circumstances. Allow me to share the skills I have learned so you can best cope with the challenges you face. My three areas of focus are: grief and loss; stress and anxiety; caregiver support. I provide individual, family and small group short-term counseling to improve your long-term quality of life.
Grief and Loss
It is natural to struggle to cope after a loss of functioning or death of a loved one. You may feel a variety of emotions and think that life will never feel normal again. I can help you learn to cope and adapt to your situation.
Stress and Anxiety
Life’s stressors affect many people, learning to manage stress and anxiety is key to living a healthy and happy life. Let me teach you ways to reduce stress and learn to relax so you can improve your physical and emotional health.
Caregiver Support
I know how hard it is to support a loved one and yourself. Let me support you and help you limit role strain, caregiver fatigue and avoid negative experiences while you learn to balance your own needs and the needs of the person you care for.
